Beacon Hill and BC Chapel Wedding – Laura and Patrick

What a day this was! We started at St. Ignatius on the campus of Boston College. The parish is an amazing Gothic building – a wonderful spot for a spiritual ceremony. Afterwards we rushed to Beacon Hill for some special wedding photos of the bride and groom among the gorgeous streets and alleyways. We knew that rain was coming any minute so we kept the limousine close by and didnt waste time. Suddenly the rain POURED down like nothing I had ever seen before. I ran for the limo hoping that my equipment wasnt ruined along the way. We all made it to the car within ten seconds luckily and then we watched in amazement the wind rip limbs off of nearby trees and shutters off the buildings. Three minutes later we were trying to find a road that wasnt blocked by a tree. We made it to the reception site in Beacon Hill and the weather miraculously cleared up again so we could take a few more photos from the roof of the building ( it wasn’t a pretty roof deck, but the guts and mechanics of air conditioning equipment) – but still it was a big treat for us all: it offered us a spectacular view of Cambridge and Back Bay.

The bride anxious awaits from the limo.

Yay! We're married now! I love getting the couple as they run out of the church.

Laura while in the receiving line. This is always a great time to get close ups of people.

Laura and Patrick liked the formals to be quick and laid back.

Laura and Patrick stole a kiss while I shot down a narrow street in Beacon Hill.

Another grab of the couple, minutes before the downpour.

They both had fun being silly with each other

Its showtime!

These guys definitely practiced their first dance.

We returned to the roof when the sun was setting.

I know that guy! I love it when you run into random family friends at a wedding.
