I
have been a photographer for more than eighteen years. I love to use images to capture the everyday stories of people. I started shooting weddings in 2001 when I
realized how much joy I got from my own wedding pictures. I enjoy the intimate
nature of the work and the all the wonderful moments it presents me with.
Previously I worked as a cinematographer on dramatic films, commercials and documentaries
in the New England area (see my work) - this experience helped to shape my photographic style. I now work for the Boston Globe as the Design Director of Boston.com.
My style is relaxed and low-key. I want my photos to look natural and beautiful. I stay out of the way and keep my eyes open for any little moment that speaks to the magic and love of the day. I strive to capture moments that burst with joy and energy. I sit with every couple and learn how they want to remember their wedding and focus on the subjects that matter most to them. . I shoot entirely digital on professional Canon bodies and lenses. I use natural light as often as I can to keep your photos as pure and vibrant as they can be. Although I strongly suggest you get any extra prints or enlargements made at a professional lab, I dont hold your digital files for ransom. You will have complete freedom with your high-resolution digital files which you will receive within weeks of your wedding. The files print beautifully up to poster size and make sharing and printing your photography simple and hassle free. If
